‘Proof’ Album Successfully Becomes BTS’s Sixth – Billboard Officially Announces That BTS’ New Anthology Album ‘Proof’ Has Debuted At No. 1 On The Top 200 Popular Albums Chart, The Weekly Ranking Of Most Popular Albums In The United States.

Another proud achievement was achieved by Bangtan Boys aka BTS, who just scored their sixth number 1 album on the Billboard 200. On June 19 local time, Billboard officially announced that BTS’ new anthology album “Proof” had debuted at number 1 on the Top 200 chart. More than 259,000 of the traditional album sales achieved by “Proof” were in CD sales, marking “the largest selling week for a CD album in the US since Adele’s “30” sold 378,000 CDs in the first week of last year. By comparison, Billboard noted , “Most of the CD sales for the ’30’ came from the USD 11.98 and USD 13.98 editions”, while “There are two CD variants available in total (for ‘Proof’): a $24 version and a $70 version: when.”

Also, since “Proof” is BTS’s sixth album to chart at No. 1, the group is now the first Korean artist—and so far, the only one to have topped the Billboard 200 with six different albums.
